Honor's Convocation
Staff Writer: Yesenia Sanchez
On Sunday afternoon, the annual Honors Convocation was held. It is an event where professors and students are recognized for their hard work and dedication. This year, Lycoming was able to hold it in person for the first time in two years at the Community Arts Center.
The event started with the orchestra and was followed by a few words by Dr. Philip Sprunger. Afterwards, each department presented their awards. Before getting to the faculty, scholarship, leadership and service, fellowship, and Chieftain awards there was a performance by the orchestra. Once all the awards were presented, President Kent C. Trachte said a few words before the Lycoming Alma mater and one last performance by the orchestra. A big congratulations to everyone who received an award.
